These contributions are used to supplement the funding our school receives from the government. They are used to maintain and improve the resources available to your child/ren. The funds are used in a variety of curriculum areas including English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Technologies, Health and Physical Education, Languages and the Arts.
The $60 Voluntary Contribution equates to just $1.50 per week. A 25% discount is available to holders of a current Centrelink Health Care Card on presentation.
Our school’s Parents and Citizens’ (P&C) Association asks all parents to pay a contribution as contributing to the P&C directly benefits your children. Improvements and projects such as upgrading our library and playgrounds would not be possible without the support of our P&C. The school forwards donations to the P&C as they are collected. In 2024 the amount is $50 per child. Our P&C also arranges events such as discos and Movie Nights and coordinates initiatives such as Book Club, Book Fair, and the Second-hand Uniform Shop.

The charges are based on the year level of your child. The amounts listed in the table below represent the maximum that will be charged in 2024. We invoice this as an annual amount, which does away with intermittent requests for small amounts of money and the collection of money by teachers. Any credit from the previous year is carried over and will reduce the charges you are invoiced for. Records of a child’s attendance and associated costs for events are available for parents to view at any time. A child’s participation is conditional on payment being made. The school undertakes activities such as excursions and in-school performances on a self-supporting cost basis. If your child cannot attend, please notify the school as soon as possible. If the school has incurred a cost for an activity on behalf of a student, this will be charged, i.e. bus costs, entry fee etc. Also, if the school diary is lost, an additional fee ($8.15 or $9.20) will be charged for a replacement.
